Simple Scrapbooks

April 12, 2007 by

I found this site by ‘googling’. It is great, so I wanted to bring it to your attention. It is called [tag]Simple Scrapbooks[/tag]. It has a host of creative women that contribute to it, but I wanted to highlight just one at the moment.

Her name is Angie Lucas and she does theSimpleblog for the site. At her blog site, she has a fantastic idea that I wanted to bring to your attention. It is a blank calendar that she has written one tidbit of life for each day on. Then for each month she puts together a layout of memorable photos for that month. Here is one of her months.

And here is her friend, Jenny’s. Jenny chose to focus hers on her daughter.

Click on the links to find out more on this project. I just thought both of them were so cute and a great idea. I wish I had the clearheadedness to pull that off. I would love to be able to do three calendars, one for each of my girls. They would be such special memories and isn’t that what [tag]scrapbooking[/tag] is all about. Making special memories last and be that much more special.

Well, I need to go. I am tired. I hope you check this out. The magazine is great and so is the project.
