10 Ways to Make and Use Paper Pockets

July 20, 2015 by Francine Clouden

Paper pockets are very useful embellishments for scrapbookers, card makers and other paper crafters. Buying ready made ones can not only be expensive but it limits you to style and color. We can use them for holding journaling and embellishments, as a way to gift photos or gift cards, or even use them to make mini Scrapbook albums. They come in very handy in our paper planners too! Here are 10 different ways you can use and make scrapbooking paper pockets, including templates and tutorials found around the internet. These little pockets are also perfect for journals and art journal books.

I  a A basic pattern (shown above) is included at the end of the post. Play around with the measurements of the card as well as the shape of the side and top flaps. You’d be surprised how many different variations you can come up with!
