How to Create Easy Halloween Art Journal Pages

How to Create Easy Halloween Art Journal Pages

If you’d like to branch out and use your scrapbooking supplies for a new art form maybe it’s time to try Art Journaling, you can use so many of the same supplies to create wonderful mixed media collage style designs. If you love Halloween and you’re new (or even experienced) to Art Journaling Susana is sharing an easy double page spread with some dark and spooky images. In this project she used Ink Sprays, stenciling and ink blending to create the backgrounds. The images are fussy cut from a book of Junk Journal designs, placed over the background and she even used a black art crayon to add extra branches for overlapping and dimension. White paint splatter over the entire project adds even more texture and a rustic element.

Check out her step by step directions over at The Cherry on Top blog.
