Giveaway: Studio Calico Home Front Line

November 25, 2009 by Francine Clouden

Home Front Giveaway

Studio Calico, one of the kit clubs I featured recently, has released it’s first complete scrapbooking line called Home Front. Here’s a description of the line directly from Studio Calico

Imagine June Cleaver styled 1950s domestic bliss. Featuring optimistic colors and smooth vintage inspired patterns. You’ll find fresh stained wood grain, retro home décor, an exclusive SC cardstock alpha set, and much more. Home Front is versatile, colorful, and beautiful (can we say that?)….we think you’ll love it.

The line is currently available at online retailers like 2peas, amillionlittlethings, stopandscrap, as well as at your local scrapbook stores. Since there is no minimum order, you can ask your local store to order it in for you if they don’t already have it. From January, you will be able to buy the line directly from Studio Calico.

To see more details of all the products included in the line click here.

And we’re giving away one collection to a lucky Craft Gossip reader!!! Here’s how to enter:

My homefront needs to be perked up. Right now, it has a little porch with a sad little wooden bench that is crying, paint me, decorate me, help me. It does like the big Poplar tree in the yard that gives it a gentle breeze now and then.

Hmm. My homefront is cluttered with the detritus of many craft projects, scattered with loose sheets of homework, and stacks of my husband’s paperwork. Yikes!

I live in my college dorm room, and the majority of my furnishing and decorations were purchased during my pre-college pink-obsessed phase. I could use some classy home decor crafts in my life!

Our homefront is lacking style at the moment. We moved to this house a couple of months ago and it’s looking better every day. Lots of paint does wonders. My husband has big plans for a new front porch and landscaping. For the time being, everyone uses the backdoor – besides, that’s the Southern Way!

My homefront looks like a cosy retreat. There’s a big mango tree in the garden, and our door opens up to luxurious green.

Crafty Themed Mini Scrapbook Album

Niella used the Color Me Crafty collection from Doodlebug to create this adorable crafty themed mini album. The cover and each page are shaped like giant tickets and there’s a disc binding on the edges and fun dangling charm hanging on the spine. The cover has a cute stack of Polaroids accent and a layered scalloped border with button pattern paper.

Crafty Themed Mini Scrapbook AlbumInside she used more crafty pattern papers, embellishments, stickers, cardstock, puffy words and more to designs wonderful pages that have lots of room for crafty photos and journaling.

Crafty Themed Mini Scrapbook AlbumThere’s even a pocket to tuck in mementos and ephemera. I love the color scheme of this collection, it’s so bright and cheerful! This little album project is perfect for all your memories of going to scrapbooking classes, crops, conventions, retreats, hanging out crafting with friends or pics of your craft room.
