Black Market Paper Society

June 30, 2008 by sarah hodsdon

Okay, this company wins huge in the “cool name” category! I was fortunate enough to score some sheets of this paper and well, I am impressed. Apparently, many others are smitten as well because it is flying off the shelves and local stores have a hard time keeping it in stock…..this, and, the company doesn’t even have a website up yet! I know that Scrapbook.com carries the complete line (that’s where I yanked the pictures from). What intrigues me about this line (especially the Ebony and Alabaster collection) is the quality I’d like to call, “The Little Black Dress Appeal”. I see so many collections that are more fad like than classic timeless design. This collection can be dressed up or down and will lookas good today as they will 50 years down the road. The texture has an air of sophistication and the weight is easy to work with. I am excited to see what they follow up with. Read other reviews here and here.

You can buy this product at embellishonline.com
It’s a great place – I love that they have Bazzill basic cardstock that matches collections from Basic Grey.
