5 Ways to Scrap Project Life August

September 18, 2014 by Francine Clouden

Project Life August 2014 - Create Share LoveSource: Create.Share.Love

I’m sharing some inspiration today from five scrapbookers for completing Project Life spreads. Each one has a different approach, but the results are all fantastic.

Traditional

Andrea from Create.Share.Love has a pretty traditional approach. She uses mostly Design A layouts, and documents her life weekly.

Looking for pet supplies, toys, food, or gift ideas? Check these out.

You can see a one week spread above, Andrea sticks to pretty simple layouts: photos and words with just a touch of embellishments.

Artsy

Project Life August 2014 - Krista Smith

While Krista Smith also does weekly layouts, her pages have a more artsy feel, with more embellishing.

Monthly

Elise Blaha does monthly spreads for her Project Life, usually just one or two per month. This is similar to my approach.

Single Girl Scrapping

Single girls scrap too! Tracy shows off one of her daily pages. I really like how she printed out that photo of her sweet dog!

Stick around her blog and check out all her other layouts for August. She uses the Studio Calico Handbook, which is what I use too.

Digital

Melissa from A Vegas Girl at heart does her Project Life digitally using layered templates.

Crafty Themed Mini Scrapbook Album

Crafty Themed Mini Scrapbook Album

Niella used the Color Me Crafty collection from Doodlebug to create this adorable crafty themed mini album. The cover and each page are shaped like giant tickets and there’s a disc binding on the edges and fun dangling charm hanging on the spine. The cover has a cute stack of Polaroids accent and a layered scalloped border with button pattern paper.

Crafty Themed Mini Scrapbook AlbumInside she used more crafty pattern papers, embellishments, stickers, cardstock, puffy words and more to designs wonderful pages that have lots of room for crafty photos and journaling.

Crafty Themed Mini Scrapbook AlbumThere’s even a pocket to tuck in mementos and ephemera. I love the color scheme of this collection, it’s so bright and cheerful! This little album project is perfect for all your memories of going to scrapbooking classes, crops, conventions, retreats, hanging out crafting with friends or pics of your craft room.

Visit the Doodlebug blog to learn more about this project and watch a flip through video.
