Scrap Alert | New Project Life App Available

September 19, 2014 by Francine Clouden

Becky Higgins just announced the release of the Project Life App for iPhones. (Android version to follow!)  According to her site

Imagine scrapbooking without scissors or adhesive or tools … or without having to print photos! Never before has scrapbooking been so easy, so fast, or so available in the palm of your hand!

Built-in templates and pre-designed artwork allow for scrapbook pages to come together in just minutes. Pull in your photos from your Camera Roll, Photo Stream, or Dropbox. There are hundreds of fantastic designer cards to choose from within the app and more being added on a monthly basis. Add some quick journaling notes and you’re done!

The App is priced at $2.99,  includes some of the existing Project Life journal and filler cards and also has in-app purchases of additional sets. You’ll also get a variety of page layout templates, colored backgrounds, and be able to change fonts color and size. Once your page is completed you can then upload to printing services like Persnickety Prints and have a 12×12 page to put into your album.

If you use your smart phone for taking lots of your photos, this could be a good way to get them scrapped easily. Also if you’ve been wanting to see what Project Life is like, this price point would be a good way to explore it. The app is available for iPads too. Check out the FAQs for more information
