5 Ways to Make Paper Egg Cups for Easter

April 3, 2015 by Francine Clouden

DIY toilet roll egg holders

How will you be displaying and serving your eggs this Easter Sunday? Dig into your paper crafting stash and use one of these lovely ideas! Most of them can be made quite quickly, so you have enough time left to get them done.

1. Above is the version from Crafts and Creativity, using paper rolls as the base. They are covered in paper, so you can make them look however you like. You can even use washi tape!toletrolleggholders4

2.  Get the template from Look What I made for the bunny egg cups, and add some grass using green paper. All the instructions are here.

3. Another free template and full instructions from Paper Crave for making these daffodil egg cups. You can also fill them with treats! Electronic die cut machine owners rejoice! There’s a free svg file too.

4. Don’t feel like cutting and pasting? try these easy origami egg cups that fold up in a bout a minute. You could make a ton of these! Learn more at How About Orange

5. Use mini paper cups for another super cute option. Cut bunny ears from one cup, and make another into a base for the egg. Have fun using your markers to add hair and faces too! Get the details at Estefi Machado

I went to short cut. I have one question it says at the very bottom of page
.http://look-waht-i-made.com could this be wrong? Should it be http://look-what-i-made.com
The (what) is misspelled and they might make a difference getting to that website. Just wondering for us.

Wanda the link works fine on this side, I’m not exactly sure what your question is? Is there a problem when you try to click over?

Thanks Francine Clouden for giving tips to make paper egg cups. It is very beautiful to see your paper cup art. I have more craze about paper cup art. Last two months before, I purchased Disposable paper cups and I made a beautiful paper cup flower pot. I will try to make those items, which you are given in your blog. Thank you very much.

Wedding Mini Album

Wedding Mini Album

Last month was peak wedding season so this week I’m focusing on scrapbooking all those fabulous wedding memories. (Check out a collection of 12 fresh new wedding layouts from my post earlier this week if you missed it.) And today we’ll be checking out a fantastic Wedding Mini Album project so you can keep all the memories of that special day in one place that’s easy to carry around and show off to friends, family and coworkers.

Wedding Mini Album

Using the same collection in a mini album makes it so much easier and faster to create with no guess work on color scheme, pattern or style. Cheryl used the Simple Vintage Love Story collection from Simple Stories for her beautiful mini album project. There’s lots of florals, butterflies and vintage touches like postage, tags and tickets that come in sweet products like pattern papers, chipboard, foam stickers, rub-ons and more that coordinate perfectly together for a seamless design.

I really love the interactive elements she included in her album like flaps and pockets too!

Visit the Simple Stories blog to see more pics of the album and learn a bit about how she put it all together.
