Wizard of Oz and Wicked Inspired Mini Scrapbook Album

Janus took the original Wizard of Oz and Wicked and mashed them together to create this amazing mini scrapbook album. It’s got that odd sort of triangular shape of the Grimmerie spell book from Wicked but is filled with classic Wizard of Oz design. The cover looks like old worn leather with raised embossing and she’s pilled up lots of layers of pattern paper, torn book pages, red poppy flowers and other mixed media components and tied it all closed with wide lace ribbon.

Inside the colors are primarily red (for the poppies), yellow (for the brick road) and blue (for Dorothy’s plaid dress). She used a brick stencil, white paste and yellow inks to create wonderful textured backgrounds, there’s illustrations of all our favorite book characters on layered pages filled with frames, chipboard elements, gold foiling and so much more.

If you’ve taken a few fun Fall photos and would like to keep them all in one handy and portable space try creating a fun little accordion mini album like this one from Sherry. Her covers are die cut scalloped pattern papers decorated with a cardstock border, scalloped white matt with a fussy cut gourd, leaves, gems and twine.

Inside are white accordion folded pages decorated with more fussy cut gourds and pumpkins, twine and two interactive pages, one with a tucked in tag, the other with a lift up flap. There’s so much space to included lots of photos and journaling on the front and back sides of this cute mini album project.
