July 7, 2007 by Meredith

Saturday’s Scrappin’ Question will become a regular installment here at Craftgossip. Every Saturday a different question related to scrapbooking will be posted and you can respond to the question by commenting to the post.  Hopefully this will be a great way for everyone to connect and get inspiration from other scrapbookers.  I look forward to reading your responses! ~Meredith

I scrapbook because I just can’t stand plain old photo albums. I love making things pretty, and I love color and pattern and how all of it fits together to make a beautiful page to go with a beautiful picture and moment.

Randa – I totally agree. I love the accent that scrapbooking can give to an already beautiful moment.

    Thanks for answering!

For me it’s because I love pictures. I started collecting scrapbook paper about 5 years before I ever gave thought to scrapbooking. I love the patterened papers and creating things that really preserve our memories beautiful.

I love scrapbooking because I enjoy finding new ways to express my creativity. I also like being able to take a photo and expand on it, by finding paper and embellishments that create a story. I think every part of scrapbooking, from taking the initial picture to adding the final touches on a page, is fun!
