You can submit a want on craigslist in the free column for anything, even scrapping stuff. Folks are constantly trying to get rid of things, as in a move. Also, it’s good to look for sales/good deals in the office supply stores & sewing/fabric stores, besides conventional craft stores.

I make my own embellishments and that helps to save money. Journaling blocks with rubber stamps, is just one idea. I sometimes take one whole scrapbooking session just to make elements so that I don’t have to worry about it when I am working on a page!

I always keep an eye on the $1 stamps by the checkout at Michael’s and I make most of my own embellishments instead of buying them. Thanks for the giveaway!

10 Rainbow Scrapbook Layouts and Mini Albums

Doodlebug Designs has an an entire line called Over the Rainbow with pattern papers, stickers, cardstock, chipboard and more. Conny used it to create an adorable gnome and rainbow themed mini album, find more photos on the Doodlebug Blog.

With Spring showers we also get rainbows after the rain, with St. Patrick’s Day there’s a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow and rainbows also symbolize hope and new beginnings. Rainbows work so well with lots of different themes and occasions so I thought I’d collect some wonderful rainbow themed scrapbooking layouts and mini albums to inspire you.

Below each picture you’ll find a link that will contain products used, tutorials and more info on each project.

10 Rainbow Scrapbook Layouts and Mini Albums

This fun layout has lots of color, shine and texture from foiling and flocking. It’s easy to make a rainbow with lots of color if the foil already has a rainbow of colors! There’s also rainbow in the borders and title made from pattern papers. Visit the Therm O Web blog for more info.

Instead of a pot of gold there a cloud shaker element at the end of this shimmering rainbow. I love all the sparkle and shine from the glitter paper rainbow and cloud, sequins and gold title! Find more details at the Clear Scraps blog.

10 Rainbow Scrapbook Layouts and Mini Albums

Rainbows represent new beginnings like for a sweet new baby. This baby girl mini album features little elements like rainbows, flowers, clothes, stuffed animals and more. I love the soft pastel colors, remember rainbows don’t have to be bold primary colors. I spotted this project on the Echo Park Instagram.

10 Rainbow Scrapbook Layouts and Mini Albums

At the end of this Easter rainbow instead of a pot of gold there’s chocolate! I love this cute title and bunnies cut from pattern paper with 3D rosette tails. Find out more about this design on the Cocoa Vanilla blog.

10 Rainbow Scrapbook Layouts and Mini Albums

A big bold rainbow is the perfect image for a brand new fresh start. This page has bright colors in the rainbow accented with summery fruit and inspiring sentiments. There’s also lots of room for journaling below the photos, which in black and white really stand out against all the color. Take a closer peek at the Bella Blvd. blog.

10 Rainbow Scrapbook Layouts and Mini Albums

Here’s another mini album, this time it’s a rainbow shaped design with each page being in a different color of the rainbow, how fun is that!? Find out more on the Paige Taylor Evans blog.

10 Rainbow Scrapbook Layouts and Mini Albums

This digital scrapbook layout is full of big bright colors for some sweet pet photos. I spotted this page from “Dodgeladee” in their Scrapbook.com gallery.

10 Rainbow Scrapbook Layouts and Mini Albums

This amazing layout features a double rainbow, one on each side. One has more pinks and yellows, the other more blues and greens with all the colors coming together in the center with beautiful stamped title. Find a process video for this page at Pinkfresh Studio.

I hope you’ve been inspired and that the sunshine brings you lots of rainbows after the rain!
