Office supplies by and large are the world’s largest untapped source of the coolest scrapbooking supplies on the planet. In addition to the various fixtures, folders, pens, labels, and adhesives, they have a wonderful supply of untraditional journals…. balance sheets, accounting books, timecards and amazing other random forms just begging to be altered. Scrapbooking is about documenting your everyday in ways that reflect who it is you are and the things around you… perhaps for some of you, your office space plays a big part in your world…. why not use the things around you to tell your story?

80’s Inspired Boombox Shaped Mini Album

I was a teen in the 80’s so this totally rad Boombox shaped mini album from Traci really speaks to me! She created a rectangle shaped black acrylic album with rounded corners, adding buttons and a handle on the top with a cover decorated to look like a real boombox with speakers, a tape deck, buttons and more. She used the Totally 80’s collection of products from Simple Stories that has lots of bright pink and teal colors with cool 80’s inspired patterns like black and white check and colorful graphics. There’s also load of fun embellishments like a Walkman, high top sneakers, retro TV, camera, hair spray can and more. 

I had huge hair in the 80’s and am embarrassed to admit how much Aquanet hair spray I used!

Traci has included her totally tubular signature flaps and pockets in the album too for some radical interactive elements too.
