Close to My Heart is offering some FREE SVG die cut files to help you create layouts, cards or paper crafting projects to celebrate the Medical Staff Heroes who are helping us out during this difficult time. You’ll find a couple of sentiments and some clothing and accessories that co-ordinate with their Paper Pals dolls but they could be used on their own as well.

The Autumn Leaves are stunning right now, the Mums and Sunflowers are bold and blooming and it’s a terrific time to include Botanicals on your scrapbook layout designs. Leaves, flowers, twigs, swags, fruit and sprays of red, orange, yellow and deep greens can be included on outdoor and indoor themes for masculine and feminine designs and for many different Fall occasions, in short Botanicals are very versatile! Today lets take a look at some beautiful Botanical Autumn scrapbook layout ideas for some inspiration.
Vicki added texture to her Fall leaves layout by tearing, layering and inking acorn pattern paper. She also included clusters of other botanicals like leaves, mushrooms and pumpkins around her title and photo. Learn more at the Simple Stories blog.
This darling doggie layout from Sophie uses printed and die cut pumpkins and flowers. For the dies she backed them with pattern papers and for the printed she used a chain stitch and added hand sewing for loads of texture and extra color. Take a closer peek at the Paige Taylor Evans blog.
Woodgrain works beautifully with florals on this page from Sara. She kept the colors muted with touches of pink with the browns, creams and gold. This gorgeous layout proves bright colors can work for Autumn too! With purple, bold yellow, teal and mixed in the color really pops so the simple die cut title stand outs. A plaid pattern paper fish tail is the base for this wonderful Thanksgiving layout from Heather. Notice how she distressed the paper edges for some texture. She included many clusters of flowers accented with lots of fun thick acrylic shapes and words for the titles. She breaks it down over at the Bramble Fox blog.
This awesome orchard layout from Giselle has cross stitching around the edges and light stenciling for some pattern. The photo is backed with layers of paper and ephemera with a row of botanicals, insects and apples down one side with a cluster on the other, there’s even some chipboard elements too. This pretty page from Lynn reminds me of a Nature Journal with twigs, flowers and leaves tied with ribbon but there’s no bulk because this layout is digital. She included word and phrases along with soft patterns on the background. Take a closer look at the O Scraps site.
Sunflowers are my favorite for Fall! This farm layout has a pretty border of sunflowers across the center with woodgrain background paper, a row of photos across the bottom and a fun arched farm scene up top with a photo worked in. Learn about Melissa’s page at the Creative Memories blog.
Butterflies flutter around orange and yellow flowers on this fabulous Fall page from Anke. She included stitching around the flower centers , leaf spines and for the butterfly bodies and trails. There’s also chipboard feathers and woodgrain panel zig zags. I came across her idea on her Anke Kramer Instagram page.

Lorie Ann also created a digital Fall Botanical layout that looks dimensional but is flat to easily fit in an album.
