Hanging Hearts Layout

January 20, 2022 by Heather Holbrook

Hanging Hearts Layout

Kelly used a “Dangling Hearts” die cut to create this fabulous layout. Inside each hanging heart shape is either layers of stacked pattern paper hearts, tiny shakers or photos cut to size and stitched around the edges with pink thread. Sticking with pink, black and white colors and printing the photos in black and white helps keep this sweet page clean and cohesive.

How to Make Tropical Summer Mini Interactive Album

This adorable Tropical Summer mini album from Conny is so fun and so interactive. She used the Summer Fun collection from Doodlebug to decorate this 5″x7″ album with chipboard covers and moveable pages inside. The cover has blue plaid paper, a wooden sign embellishment with lots of leaves and beach items all around with a 3D flamingo and different types of flowers too.

Inside you’ll find pocket pages, flaps and fold out with lots of fun sea creatures, Summertime patterns and beachy elements.

But my favorite part is the waterfall section she created that allows you to pull a tab and flip through many panels that can be used to journal, include more photos or just for a fun interactive decoration.

She’s sharing step by step directions and lots more album photos over on the Doodlebug blog.
