Gloss Spray Techniques for Layouts

August 5, 2022 by Heather Holbrook

Gloss Spray Techniques for Layouts

Add a splash of color and texture to your layouts and cards using Gloss Sprays. You can get a dense spray or a light splatter depending on the distance you hold the bottle away from the paper, you can use them with stencils to create amazing patterns, add a speckle over pattern papers and they come in different colors to create fun colorful backgrounds. You’ll find these and more helpful tips and techniques for using Gloss Sprays over on the Close to My Heart Blog.

How to Make Tropical Summer Mini Interactive Album

How to Make Tropical Summer Mini Interactive Album

This adorable Tropical Summer mini album from Conny is so fun and so interactive. She used the Summer Fun collection from Doodlebug to decorate this 5″x7″ album with chipboard covers and moveable pages inside. The cover has blue plaid paper, a wooden sign embellishment with lots of leaves and beach items all around with a 3D flamingo and different types of flowers too.

Inside you’ll find pocket pages, flaps and fold out with lots of fun sea creatures, Summertime patterns and beachy elements.

But my favorite part is the waterfall section she created that allows you to pull a tab and flip through many panels that can be used to journal, include more photos or just for a fun interactive decoration.

She’s sharing step by step directions and lots more album photos over on the Doodlebug blog.
