Shimelle Laine is holding a free online miniclass titled This Year, as a way to say thank you “for all the fabulous things that have come her way in scrapbooking”.
It’s simple to take part in the class, and everyone is welcome! There is no signing up, all you need to do is follow her blog to download the class materials. The supply list is already available for download here, and the class begins January 18th.
I was a teen in the 80’s so this totally rad Boombox shaped mini album from Traci really speaks to me! She created a rectangle shaped black acrylic album with rounded corners, adding buttons and a handle on the top with a cover decorated to look like a real boombox with speakers, a tape deck, buttons and more. She used the Totally 80’s collection of products from Simple Stories that has lots of bright pink and teal colors with cool 80’s inspired patterns like black and white check and colorful graphics. There’s also load of fun embellishments like a Walkman, high top sneakers, retro TV, camera, hair spray can and more.
I had huge hair in the 80’s and am embarrassed to admit how much Aquanet hair spray I used!
Traci has included her totally tubular signature flaps and pockets in the album too for some radical interactive elements too.
