Free Alice in Wonderland Book Nook Cut Files

Book Nooks have been really trendy for the last few years, if you’re not familiar they are shadow box style vignettes that sit between books on the shelf or even between your scrapbooks. They are usually about the same depth and height but a little wider than a book and are usually themed around popular books. They are frequently made of wood but I’ve seen them created from cardboard and paper too.

Miss Mindee has created an amazing set of SVG die cut files that create a Book Nook themed around Alice in Wonderland, one of my favorite classic books! It shows Alice about to climb some stairs to the palace of the Queen of Hearts with rose bushes, a hedge maze and playing card guards too. The openings have pretty scalloped arches and old fashioned silhouettes of Alice and the White Rabbit are on the sides.

You can use your electronic die cutting machine to cut out the dies or use scissors or an Exacto knife to cut the papers and create the nook.

Monique created an amazing stack of rainbow colored sentiments with die cut vacation word banners cut from pattern paper and backed in white so they really stand out. What better place to document your travels than in a Traveler’s Notebook? Taina used fun, fruity lemon and boat anchors paper for bright blue and yellow borders with one page for a title and lots of journaling and the other for a stack of photos. Find out more at the Coca Daisy blog.

Pocket pages are perfect for travel, they are easy to slip in photos, postcards and tickets, also include journaling cards for notes about your trip as well. This cool travel layout from Cheryl focuses on one of those fun Instagramable murals you’ll find in so many cities. It’s such a fun place to stop for photos and tells everyone exactly where you were. Erin created a double page layout for her Scottish adventure with green map, blue wavy and dark woodgrain pattern papers for the background. There little travel accents scattered around, journaling on vellum and the stamped sheep are simply perfect! I came across her ideas on the Crafty Concepts with Erin Instagram page.

The deep blues and rich cream colors really pop on the white background of this lighthouse layout from Rebecca. Under her photo she tucked in nautical elements like a compass, lighthouse, seagulls, globe, shells and a chipboard title. Find all the details at the Scrap Paper Scissors blog.

Debbi’s stunning travel layout has loads of texture and depth with a stenciled brick background on textured cardstock, metal embellishments, wooden window, tied tag with twine and lots of thick acrylic accents and words. Find all the details at the Bramble Fox blog.
