Kira used different pattern papers to cut out each letter of the word “cake” three times and then stitched them down the center to adhere them to her page. I love how this gives some dimension to the letters becuase they aren’t completely glued down. A few accents tucked in around the words and the yummy cake pic are all that was needed to finish off this fun layout.

With Thanksgiving on the way it’s a wonderful time to take stock of all the things you’re grateful for. You can create journaling or scrapbooking layouts or even create an entire album like Conny did. Her mini album measures 5″ x 5 1/2″ and was made from scratch with chipboard, pattern papers and the One Fall Day collection from Bella Blvd. The cover has layers of pretty Fall papers, a chipboard sentiment and chipboard leaves and flowers, it also ties closed with ribbon.
Inside are beautiful pages with pattern paper backgrounds, more chipboard shapes and phrases with room for a photo and embellishments on each page.
