Are your kids as fascinated with mailboxes as my son is? I blame the singing mailbox from Blue’s Clues for this obsession. We even bought him a vintage metal mailbox for his pretend play. And as soon as I finish writing this post, we’ll be making one of these paper mailboxes to celebrate Valentine’s Day tomorrow.
These 10 mailbox ideas should give you a jump start to get one made too! Many are free printables, and there are cut files for the Cricut and Silhouette crew, and even a template for constructing a DIY mailbox even if you don’t have a cutting machine.
These mailboxes inspire handwriting, communication and thoughtfulness at home and in the classroom.
