Freebie | Valentine’s Day Printable

Becki’s sweet family layout has wonderful Fall patterns with polka dots, leaves and plaids in warm colors. She matted and stacked her two photos to one side, adding a cluster of embellishments at the bottom corner. She laid down two upside down tags (perfect for journaling) with buttons below the chipboard title with lots more matching embellishments above. Find all the details at the Simple Stories blog.

Hanging out with family is so much fun in the Fall, taking long walks to check out the changing leaves, raking up those leaves in the yard, then jumping into the pile, eating a warm meal together on a cool night, roasting marshmallows by the fire pit, these are all wonderful occasions to take photos together as a family. You can then spend those cooler Autumn days in your crafting space scrapbooking all those fabulous Autumn Memories. Today let’s get inspired by some Fall Family Scrapbook Layout ideas.

This fantastic Fall walk in the park double page spread has a wide vertical border of matted plaid paper down the middle of both sides but notice how it’s not centered, this adds extra interest. The photos are also matted, some with pattern paper and there’s small clusters of embellishments and a title with tiny fish tails below. I spotted this idea on the Echo Park Paper Instagram page.

Giselle created a cool mixed media circle on the background of her Family page by cutting “rays” of pattern paper, drawing faux stitching between them and then completing the circle with different rub-ons. There’s also some printed vellum and ephemera leaves and flowers with a large title too. Learn more at the Hey Little Magpie blog.

Ashley’s wonderful family photo is backed by Fall inspired coordinating pattern papers in plaids, polka dots, florals and leaves of wide staggered strips that are all sewn around the edges. Nicole’s rustic page starts with a brick pattern paper with some white paint added for texture and a torn border of pink and blue papers close to the top. Surrounding her to photos are lots of embellishments of 3D and flat flowers, real buttons, butterflies and bees, quilted hearts along with stamped and chipboard title and sentiment. Melissa’s wonderful faux quilt layout has a grid of pattern paper squares, some cut in half on the angle and placed together for a fabulous Fall background. She added cute little critters and leaves on some squares, used similar papers to die cut her title as well as to design a camera embellishment. I came across her page on her Melissa Minor gallery at Scrapbook.com.

Nathalie documented a Fall walk in her Traveler’s notebook with a large title of alphabet stickers on printed acorn paper on one side and her photo on the other. Behind the photo she stamped a faded cross hatch and added some rub-ons. Below the pic is her journaling on clear sticker paper and a bit more stamping. Nathalie also designed this traditional scrapbook layout with a wonderful stenciled and splatter background in burgundy. Around her matted and staggered photos she’s got lots of stickers, lace, butterflies with their wings popped up, layered yellow flowers, green stems of leaves and a colorful funky title. I spotted this idea on her Tachita55 Instagram page.

Ashley was able to get lots of different Autumn patterns on a single layout by tilting one of the large pieces and adding a doble border, notice how the blue paper also has leaves punched from it. Her stack of three photos has a round wreath sentiment and some colorful leaves down the side, there’s also a small cluster of pumpkins and leaves with a sentiment on the other side. Deborah used Autumn pattern paper that reminds me of a nature journal for the base of her design. There’s a matted layer of heart paper, a space for journaling, also with hearts and her photo backed with patterns and tab, a cluster of accents and a large turkey too. This sweet family layout has a custom leaf border down one side created with an embossing folder that was first inked and then dry embossed. I love the journaling down the side of the border too! There’s just a few Fall embellishments and sentiments over the photos for a clean and simple design. Find directions at the Creative Memories blog.
