80’s Inspired Cassette Tape Mini Album

Traci created this awesome 80’s inspired cassette tape shaped mini album using the Our Love Song collection from Bella Blvd. I’m an 80’s girlie so I thought this project was totally bitchin’! She used a cassette cut file, also from Bella Blvd, to create the cover of the album, adding 2 holes on the side to use O rings to hold it all together. I love all the gnarly patterns and colors in this collection!

Each page has lots more patterns like music notes and cool embellishments like this boombox. There’s also some rad tabs and tags with ribbons at the tops of some pages.

There’s also colorful sentiments and plenty of room for photos and journaling.

I love scrapbooking “off the page”, meaning something that’s not on a flat common sheet of cardstock to go inside of an album and doing something really non-traditional! Well, this project from Aline really fits the bill with a scrapbook “page” inside of a small metal tin, it’s so cute and clever!

Using the Sweet Summer collection from Simple Stories she placed picnic themed pattern papers on the inside top and bottom of the tin decorating it with stickers and chipboard elements (that can fold down and pop up) along with a fussy cut photo to create a darling scene.

She also decorated the top of the tin with pattern paper, more chipboard, words and metal acrylic buttons, adding a sentiment strip on the side of the tin.
