From bonnets to bunnies to egg hunters, Easter has so many exciting photo opportunities.  Maybe it’s baby’s first Easter, or you happen to have three generations of family members together decorating eggs.  Perhaps you capture your child beaming as they take part in  an egg hunt, or siblings walking hand in hand on the way to church.  Looking for inspiration for your Easter page?  Here are eight lovely examples to get those ideas flowing.  Whatever Easter memories you make this year, these layout ideas will help you create a fun and festive page.

80’s Inspired Boombox Shaped Mini Album

I was a teen in the 80’s so this totally rad Boombox shaped mini album from Traci really speaks to me! She created a rectangle shaped black acrylic album with rounded corners, adding buttons and a handle on the top with a cover decorated to look like a real boombox with speakers, a tape deck, buttons and more. She used the Totally 80’s collection of products from Simple Stories that has lots of bright pink and teal colors with cool 80’s inspired patterns like black and white check and colorful graphics. There’s also load of fun embellishments like a Walkman, high top sneakers, retro TV, camera, hair spray can and more.

I had huge hair in the 80’s and am embarrassed to admit how much Aquanet hair spray I used!

Traci has included her totally tubular signature flaps and pockets in the album too for some radical interactive elements too.

Visit the Artsy Album blog to learn more about this bodacious mini album project.
