Suzi created this stunning outdoor Spring layout by cutting away the inside of a hexagon pattern paper to frame the page. She added back a few of the fussy cut hexagons in the center and then stitched around them all for an amazing quilted look. She place her photo in the center along with clusters of flowers, a couple of sentiments and some bees. Find directions at the Pinkfresh Studio blog.

This lovely layout has a muted color palette with layers of pattern papers and lots of pretty floral clusters with butterflies. There’s also a couple of tied tags, a mixed title that includes a thick acrylic word and several tabs tucked it. I spotted this idea on the Not Just for The Boys Instagram page.
Brianna’s romantic design has soft creams, warm whites and lots of lavender with layers of honeycomb and floral pattern papers off to one side of the photo. She included thick chipboard flowers, hearts and words with metal buttons and domed gems for lots of depth and dimension. Visit the Simple Stories blog for all the details.
Rochi’s pretty page was inspired by the pattern paper she chose that she altered and really made her own. She used colored thread to hand cross stitch around each diamond shape as well as fussy cut flowers to place in the center of each diamond too for a very custom design. She kept this as the focus with just a few embellishments around the photo. Learn more at the Paige Taylor Evans blog.
Melissa’s fantastic gardening layout has an amazing bird house border across the center. She created her own birdhouses using pattern papers, a circle punch and thin strips of brown cardstock. There’s also vine, flower and bird nest stickers and a die cut circle for journaling. Find directions at the Creative Memories blog.
Sophie created a fun splash of water colors on the background of her Spring layout in pretty pastel colors. Over top she added different frames that have pattern papers and clusters of embellishments with sweet sentiments, a puffy letter title, butterflies fluttering away for movement and some sewing for texture. I came across her idea on the So_Scrappy Instagram page.
Kirei’s wonderful page has a grid design with rows of squares of textured cardstock that have been distressed around the edges. In each one are small pictures, butterflies or flowers and sentiments as well as a few tickets scattered around too. I came across her idea on her Kerei 65 Instagram page.
Tarrah’s cheerful Spring layout takes advantage of double sided pattern papers by folding the corners to show the back side, placing another sheet underneath for lots of petite patterns. There’s several sentiments and fun embellishments like peeking suns, rainbows and clouds, perfect for outdoor layouts. She breaks it all down at the Doodlebug blog.
Nicole’s pretty in pink selfie layout has a lovely pink floral stenciled background with faux stitching around the edges. There’s a die cut title in an ombre of pink inking, chipboard banners, a tied tag tucked behind the photo and a few cute bugs flying around as well. Take a closer look at the My Creative Scrapbook blog.
Heather’s terrific layout reminds me of a vintage nature journal with rich greens, deep blues and dark pinks. There’s layers of doilies and frames, ink distressing, vintage looking type, birds, flowers and leaves in the paper and embellishments with a few modern touches too like an acrylic title and hearts. Find all the details at the Bramble Fox blog.
Nathalie’s Travelers Notebook pages have a yellow pattern paper side that works so well with the yellow of the flowers on the other page. She included lots of stamping, a vellum pocket that holds a tag for journaling, puffy letter stickers for the title and some rub-ons. Learn more at the Cocoa Daisy blog.
All around the diamond shaped photo in the center of her layout Celes has created a wreath of beautiful purple flowers with touches of white ferns and sweet little butterflies. The rustic background looks like ancient paper with dark edges and crumbling corners and is a nice contrast backdrop for all the florals. I love the little magnifying glass she included too! I came across her idea on the Textures by Lou Collins Instagram page.
I hope you get a change to enjoy this amazing Spring weather and don’t forget to take lots of pictures!
-Heather
