Of course we take too many pictures when visiting a Disney park so it’s hard to fit them all in but Paige has an awesome idea. It all started with a mouse and those iconic ears so she squeezed a load of photos into a Mickey shape with stitching all around on a watercolor background. There’s also a colorful title down one side and a few sentiment strips too. I came across her idea on the Paige Taylor Evans Instagram page.
I admit it, I love all things Disney! I love the movies, the TV shows, the merchandise, all the characters and of course the parks (so far I’ve just been to Disney World many times but the other parks are on my bucket list!) so of course I love to scrapbook my trips when I get back. I’m a bit behind since our last trip and thought now’s a great time to check out some Disney inspired layouts to inspire me and those of you who also love visiting Disney!
Shannon’s yummy double page spread is all about the fun and yummy treats we all enjoy at the parks. She has as colorful die cut title across the top, a row of delicious photos across the center (with a spot left for journaling) and a row of snacks die cut with her Cricut along the bottom row. Learn more at the Stampin Buds blog.
Tami’s fantastic design is inspired by a crossword or Scrabble puzzle with square Minnie inspired polka dots with stamped letters and lots of tiny photos with a few large ones mixed in. This grid pattern is another way to include lots of photos. Take a closer peek at the Mosaic Moments blog.
Epcot always has fantastic festivals going on all year round so make that the focus if you attend one like this Flower and Garden layout. On one page Diane has a large topiary photo with sticker letter for the title on a pretty floral pattern paper. The other side utilized paper printed with circles, adding round photos and buttons over top. I came across her idea on the Snapshots Documented Instagram page.
Kristin created an amazing shaker element in a chipboard frame with a photo filled with sequins that include tiny Mickey heads for the main focal point. All around are layered strips of pattern papers along with fun Disney inspired chipboard words and phrases. Find all the details at the Scrapbook Adhesives blog.
Pat’s trip to Disney Springs is captured with lots of fun die cut images like Pluto, Mouse ears, Mickey’s pants and a cool title section with fun Florida icons, all cut with her Cricut. I love the bright and bold colors, it captures FL so well! Visit the Me and My Cricut blog for more details.
Tya created tall pages for a Disney Travelers Notebook with a title page that spells Disney going down one layout. There’s also a pocket page filled with small photos, a large castle and treat photo and one other page with a selfie, a castle embellishment and some journaling. I love the little stars, hearts and polka dot scattered throughout! She breaks it all down at the Doodlebug blog.
For Marjorie’s layout she stepped away from the normal primary Disney color scheme and went with pastel pattern papers instead. She used theme park and plaid papers to die cut rows of Mickey ears on a inked background with some gold glitter hearts and title for some sparkle. I came across this page on her Mzellecupcake Instagram page.
Ivy’s split page has two background papers with a row of photos down the center. On one side are a trio of tied tags with fun patterns and sentiments. The other side has a cool faux clipboard for journaling, an image of Mickey and a speech bubble. Take a closer look at A Cherry on Top blog.
Shari took the characters right out of the photo and onto the page with adorable Winnie the Pooh and Piglet die cut images sitting with flowers along a fun picket fence border. She even included fluffy clouds and a big sun to complete the scene, all on plaid paper. I came across her layout on her Sparkle Peanut Designs Instagram.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this stroll through Disney Parks!
