How to Make a Cute Teddy Bear Mini Journal

Lacey’s beautiful floral layout is perfect for berry picking photos. She used vintage inspired paper for a wide vertical border and added lots of flowers, plants and butterflies for a big touch of Nature. The trellis die along the edge works perfectly as does the funny rustic weeds sign. I spotted her idea on the 49th and Market Instagram page. 

I love incorporating Nature in my scrapbook layouts, from flowers to feathers, from clouds to the cosmos and everything in between you can add natural inspired elements to your layout designs for a variety of themes,  even if your photos are not all about nature. Using the wild outdoors can convey a sense of abandonment, stars are perfect for birthdays and graduations, florals give a soft and feminine feel, fruits work well with recipe and baking pages, you can really think outside of the box when it comes to creating feelings and emotions with natural designs. Jessica created two fin-tastic pages for her fishing Traveler’s Notebook with a cute story about her daughter thinking she’d caught a shark. One side focuses on the photos and story journaling, the other has wonderful waves cut from pattern paper with a fish on a pole, lots of sentiments and a bunch of sequins for bubbles. Karyn created this wonderful wildlife layout with a zig-zag pattern using plastic templates from Creative Memories. She mixed a dark nature inspired paper with diamond yellow pattern paper and pale blue cardstock with a circle photo in the center to draw in the eye. Nathalie’s Traveler’s Notebook pages are inspired by a trip to the sea with soothing ocean images. Keely’s wild flower layout has fun mixed media using alcohol inks for the background and on the die cut title, along with hand drawn hexagons. She covered most of the page with a beautiful array of flowers (popping some up for dimension) and included a peeking bunny and some fluttery butterflies as well. Rich reds and oranges with lots of fall leaves and faux die cut skeleton leaves work together beautifully on this Halloween digital layout from Barbara.
