10 Reasons why you may want to join a Kit Club

November 10, 2009 by Francine Clouden

Scrapbooking kit clubs have become increasingly popular over the last few years. The general concept behind these type of clubs is that you subscribe monthly for a certain time (usually six months minimum), and each month you receive a package of scrapbooking products. Here are some of the reasons you may want to consider joining a club.

1. You receive pre-coordinated scrapbook supplies, making product selection for your projects a breeze.

2. If you’re busy with work, home, kids or school (or all of the above) it’s easy to grab your kit and get creating when you have some free time.

3. If you’re looking to think outside your creative “box”, a kit can challenge you with products you might not have chosen for yourself.

4. Some clubs include exclusive products like stamps or custom papers and embellishments, and also may be among the first to have new product releases.

5. Most clubs have  a Design Team to provide their members with inspiration for using the kits.

6. Many clubs have a message board where you can connect with other members and discuss topics related to the kits and scrapbooking in general

7. Some clubs also maintain a blog where they post inspiration, challenges, giveaways and general club information.

8. If you don’t live close to a Local Scrapbooking Store or a craft store, a kit club can meet your supply shopping needs.

9. A kit is a good way to use your scrapbooking budget while ensuring you are receiving the newest and hippest products

10. What could be more fun than receiving a monthly package of scrapbooking supplies?

How fabulous is this purse shaped mini scrapbook album from Sabaa!? This stunning design is a purse shape with a magnetic flap and even a handle to hold it by decorated with mixed media 3D elements. It has accordion sides that create sections inside to slip in separate individual pages.  She used the Always and Forever collection of supplies from Graphic 45 to create a wedding themed album in teals and pinks with lots of florals, butterflies and bows but you could create any style you’d like.
