Fall leaves and foliage were die cut from pattern papers and tucked in behind a large circle to form a wonderful wreath on this sweet layout. I spotted this design on Becki Adams’ Scrapbook.com gallery.
September is here and that means Summer is winding down and Autumn is gearing up. Soon the leaves on the trees will begin to change and temperatures will be getting cooler so it’s the perfect time to head outdoors and have some fun and of course take some great pictures while you’re out there. I’ve gathered up a wonderful collection of Outdoor Autumn Layout ideas to get you ready to begin scrapping the Fall Season.

A trip to the mountains is the perfect way to see the autumn leaves. Jessica created a double page spread with a pocket page on one side and a large photo on the other for her outdoor journey. She used stamps to add text, titles and trees to her layout. Visit the Kerri Bradford blog for a closer look.
This fun layout captures all the enjoyment of playing in a pile a leaves! I love the large tree branch across the top that’s full of leaves, flowers and little critters. It’s balanced by the photo, title and typed journaling along the bottom. Visit the Doodlebug Blog for all the details.
If you’re lucky enough to be able to visit an orchard this Autumn be sure to take some fun family pictures picking apples or pumpkins. This layout features lots of pattern papers, several borders and embellishments in coordinating fall colors. I came across this page on Grammy Scrapers gallery at Scrapbook.com.
The cooler weather makes physicals activities more enjoyable like bike riding. This fun layout from Yvette has lots of movement and dimension with scattered squares stitched down, butterflies with their wings popped up, a foam title and layers of die cut flowers and leaves. She breaks it all down on the Simple Stories blog.
This layout has a large circular photo with two cuties heading into the corn maze. It’s surrounded by lots of colorful botanical pre-printed die cuts like leaves, pumpkins, flowers, a title and a couple of sweet owls. I spotted this sweet design on the Crafts by Heather S Instagram page.
I love the orange and teal colors of this amazing travel layout! The colors are inspired by the photo that features a long waterway with a row of trees in all their Autumn splendor. Around the picture are layers of pattern paper, chipboard elements, 3D flowers, film strips, rub-ons and tape. Visit the 49th and Market blog for more info.
A beautifully decorated Fall porch is the perfect setting to take some photos. This grid style layout is decorated with coordinating pattern papers, dies and thick stickers for the title. Learn all about it on The Cherry on Top blog.
Stamps are a terrific way to add your own custom spin to a design. Here Sherry used Stampin’ Up ink pads in fall colors and stamped out leaves, wheat and pumpkins around the edges of her background. She accented her fall photo with more stamps that have been die cut and stickers from Echo Park. Visit the Stamped Treasures blog for a closer peek.
Here’s another fun outdoor apple picking layout with two rows of tags and photos. The color combo of red, green and yellow works perfectly with the photos and the apple dies tie the theme all together. Visit the Elle’s Studio Instagram for more details.
Whether you take a trip or just head out to your own back yard I hope you have lots of chances to get outside this Autumn, enjoy the nice weather, have some fun and take lots of photos for scrapping!
