Barbie Movie Scrapbook Layout

The Barbie movie is the big hit of the summer and she’s making a huge come back (not that she ever really left) with pink popping up everywhere and of course lots of Barbie merchandise, clothes, home decor and even paper crafting. Many theaters have fun scenes set up to snap some pics before you see the show or get out your vintage Barbie collection and take some pics, snap some photos of your kids playing with their dolls and then scrap some trendy Barbie themed layouts. Just don’t forget to add lots and lots of pink!

This fun design features lots of bold bright colors (with lots of pink) in retro styles with stripes, flowers and polka dots. The pattern papers are stitched down in a zig zag pattern below the photos and accented with flowers and gold alphabet sticker title.

I was a teen in the 80’s so this totally rad Boombox shaped mini album from Traci really speaks to me! She created a rectangle shaped black acrylic album with rounded corners, adding buttons and a handle on the top with a cover decorated to look like a real boombox with speakers, a tape deck, buttons and more. She used the Totally 80’s collection of products from Simple Stories that has lots of bright pink and teal colors with cool 80’s inspired patterns like black and white check and colorful graphics. There’s also load of fun embellishments like a Walkman, high top sneakers, retro TV, camera, hair spray can and more.

I had huge hair in the 80’s and am embarrassed to admit how much Aquanet hair spray I used!

Traci has included her totally tubular signature flaps and pockets in the album too for some radical interactive elements too.
