Wow, it’s 2025! We’re a couple weeks into this New Year so have you made resolutions, have you thought about the things you’d like to do this year or reflected back on everything from last year, did you have a big blow out party on New Years Eve? Below each photo you’ll see a link, click it for more info like products used, tips and techniques.
Rachel captured all of 2024 in one page with a single photo for each month. She backed them in colorful labels with tabs for the month and stamping for the date of each picture. She added small puffy hearts all around and a year and sentiment in the center. I came across her idea on the Scrap with Rachel Instagram page.
This fun and festive New Years Eve party layout has lots of metallics with gold and silver foiled embellishments and pattern papers. There’s room for journaling, a banner title and I love the row of photos across the center like a photo booth strip. Find directions at the Creative Memories blog.
I love the purple and orange color combination on this bold layout from Heather! This digital design has numbers that really pop with multiple patterns and matting, she added fun little icons like bottles, bows, glasses and party hats all over too. Take a closer peek at the Sweet Shoppe Designs.
This glitzy layout from Hajnal has so much depth and dimension from rolled tubes of pattern paper, popped up foiled embellishments and a panel wrapped wrapped in gold twine. She used products from Studio Forty and shared this idea on her hajnal_s_kreativwelt Instagram page.
Black and gold always give a classy look! This layout has a white on white background with a large detailed star background die and negative space die cut letters alternating between black and gold. Smaller sentiments and hearts were cut from black for a second, smaller title and the date too. Learn more at the Cardstock Warehouse blog.
Liz used a digital template to drop in photos and journaling for her first week of January. If you can continue this each week of the year it’s a quick and easy way to keep track of all those memories. There’s even a QR code to scan for more photos. She shares how to put these digital pages together on the Scrapping with Liz blog.
Traci used classic gold and black for her New Years layout, even printing the photos in black and white. All the gold foil adds such an elegant touch and I like how she split the die cut numbers in half with gold on top and black on the bottom for added interest. Take a closer look at the Artsy Albums blog.
Andrea did the opposite and used lots of colors for her page with confetti, polka dot and star pattern papers with a retro 80’s vibe. She used numbers to create a border with title and banners below the photo and lots of balloons, confetti and sentiments above. I spotted this on her Andrea Lake gallery at Scrapbook.com.
A selfie is a great way to personalize the New Year with a happy, contented you. This digital layout has a watercolor floral background and cluster of flowers, postage stamps, sentiments and woodland elements. I spotted this on wombat146’s gallery at O’ Scraps.
Nicole also included a self portrait, this time on New Years eve and in bright colors for a double Traveler’s Notebook spread. Pattern papers were used for the background with some distressing on the photo, tag and paper edges with gems, stitching and little embellishments scattered around along with some simple journaling. Find all the details on The Cherry on Top blog.
And finally Gloria used products from Bella Blvd. for her party layout in black, white and silver. This collection was made for graduation but by adding numbers and a date she cleverly used it for New Years Eve! I came across her idea on the Gloria Scraps Instagram page.
I hope you will have a wonderful New Year in 2025!
