Summer Accordion Mini Album

If you’ve got Summer vacation photos to scrap here’s a super cute mini album by Conny. Her accordion style album uses the Summer Fun collection from Doodlebug including pre-printed card bases, envelopes, cardstock, pattern papers, printed dies, dimensional dies and more. The cover is a cute beach scene with seagull, palm tree and beach umbrella. There’s an “adventure” title and printed “Summer Fun” circle with greenery and flowers tucked around.

Inside are two sizes of accordion pages all decorated with designs from the same collection to keep it all coordinated, with lots of cute sea creatures, sentiments and colorful beachy patterns.

She also created fun flaps, tabs and envelopes for hidden photos, journaling or tucking in travel ephemera like maps or tickets.

I was a teen in the 80’s so this totally rad Boombox shaped mini album from Traci really speaks to me! She created a rectangle shaped black acrylic album with rounded corners, adding buttons and a handle on the top with a cover decorated to look like a real boombox with speakers, a tape deck, buttons and more. She used the Totally 80’s collection of products from Simple Stories that has lots of bright pink and teal colors with cool 80’s inspired patterns like black and white check and colorful graphics. There’s also load of fun embellishments like a Walkman, high top sneakers, retro TV, camera, hair spray can and more.

I had huge hair in the 80’s and am embarrassed to admit how much Aquanet hair spray I used!

Traci has included her totally tubular signature flaps and pockets in the album too for some radical interactive elements too.
