Saturday Inspirations Week 7

April 18, 2015 by Francine Clouden

This week’s inspiration comes from the design blog of Fast Company called Fast Co.Design.

What’s not to love? Usually when using an inspiration piece I will choose just one bit of it to use, but in this case I loved everything! And I had the perfect hexagon stickers too.

I loved the idea of the guy seeing everything, and it made me think of photography, so I grabbed this old photo of some cameras. I gotta tell you, I strongly resisted cutting my photo into a circle. I had major flashbacks of all the shapes we were cutting photos into 10 years ago. Shudder. But I’m so glad I did, it works much better than a square or rectangular photo.

See even more on my blog.

FREE Layered “Enter if You Dare” Halloween Die Cut

This creepy “Enter if You Dare” die cut is made up of 5 layers to create an amazing title for your Halloween scrapbook layouts. There’s large letters that you can cut from different colors of cardstock to suit your design needs and a layering base to cut from black that has spider webs and a little spider too. If you popped up each layer with foam tape you could make a fun 3D effect too. This FREE SVG cut file could also be used to create signs and decor for Halloween parties or shrunken down for a handmade card sentiment as well.
