Inspiration Saturdays | Week 1

Hello scrappers and crafters! Ready for a new series? Every Saturday I’ll be posting an inspiration piece, accompanied by a layout I made drawing inspiration from that image. I’ll be pulling these from a series I did on my personal blog in 2013, but will also mix it up with all new content. I’m hoping these will serve as jump starts for anyone looking for scrapping inspiration over the weekend.

This week’s inspiration piece (above) comes from Rachel Castle.

Here’s my interpretation using washi tape!

With Thanksgiving on the way it’s a wonderful time to take stock of all the things you’re grateful for. You can create journaling or scrapbooking layouts or even create an entire album like Conny did. Her mini album measures 5″ x 5 1/2″ and was made from scratch with chipboard, pattern papers and the One Fall Day collection from Bella Blvd. The cover has layers of pretty Fall papers, a chipboard sentiment and chipboard leaves and flowers, it also ties closed with ribbon.
