Ali’s layout captures the essence of cozy! Her amazing background is created with strips of pattern papers in plaids and checks, all stitched together for a quilted feel. “Cozy” has been a popular term for quite awhile now. I think it really took off during the pandemic when we were all at home all the time and looking for ways to feel safe and comfortable, wearing PJ’s and sweats all day, bundling up on chilly nights, putting on comfy sweaters to take long outdoor walks and that trend has continued all these years later as we all still enjoy being cozy. I especially think of Autumn as the best times for those cozy clothes, home decor and design, especially in our crafting projects like scrapbooking. It’s just the right time to include warm colors, rustic, wooden and plaid patterns, crunchy leaves, and comforting food in your layouts to capture all those cozy memories of Fall, so let’s get inspired by some new Cozy Autumn Scrapbook Layouts.

Marsha’s memory planner pages have lots of photos of comforting foods and changing trees with a journaling card and word strips on the photos. The other side has journaling for each day in the week reflecting on what each day brought with special stamped touches. Find all the details at the Cocoa Daisy blog. 

Wendy’s cozy friends layout has a dark woodgrain background with loads of mushrooms, Fall leaves, flowers and critters in several clusters, all fussy cut from pattern papers. There’s also two thick acrylic sentiments and some acrylic leaves for extra dimension. Take a closer look at the Bramble Fox blog.

Eva wrapped her photo in a spiral of leaves for a design with lots of color and movement. She fussy cut a lot of leaves from pattern paper and created an ombre of Fall colors swirling up to the circular pic. There’s also stitching with the leaves and some sentiments scattered in along the way. I spotted her idea on the Pinkfresh Studio Instagram page.

Cozy up in your favorite Fall outfits and head out with the family to take some photos. This layout has all the rich Autumn colors with a green and orange pattern paper base, pattern paper matts behind each photo, a space for journaling and lots of printed embellishments of florals and pumpkins. But the stand out is that wonderful bottom border created with lots of pattern papers and an arrow punch, so cool! Find directions at the Creative Memories blog.

Cinna’s wonderful digital layout has lots of texture and dimension even though it’s flat. There’s rustic woodgrain, sweet florals, strips and polka dot pattern papers, some with tearing and wrinkling. Her Autumn dog walk photos are accented with lots of florals in dark colors in two clusters along with a vertical title and “stamped” subtitle. Erin’s wonderful double page cozy layouts have beautiful borders of pattern paper running across the bottom of both. I love what she did with her foiled leaves! On one side she create a wreath of leaves around her photos, adding some tags and sentiment strips. On the other page are clusters of leaves and gourds with twine and a large circle title. A mother and daughter cuddle up for a sweet selfie on MandaJane’s darling design. She’s used an Autumn pattern paper with flora and fauna on the sides for the background, adding some torn papers with faux stitching dwon one edge. Behind the photo are tucked in tickets and sentiments and below the large title is a fun Fall banner. Take a closer peek at the Pretty Little Studio blog.

Kirei created the most amazing border on her cozy vibes layout with a strip of plaid paper along the top of a white sheet and along that edge she added layers and layers of overlapping Fall flowers and embellishments. There’s a tiny deckle strip along the top edge too with tickets behind the photos, hand written journaling and a fun little pocket with tags. Find more info at the Hey Little Magpie blog.

Shanel used a hexagon die and lots of Fall floral and polka dot pattern papers to create a quilted design on the background of her grateful layout, notice how the background is a clean white so the patterns really pop. This sweet design has three wide fishtails cut from pattern papers on a woodgrain background for a rustic outdoor layout. The two pics and the journaling are all matted behind a darker paper that helps them stand out and there’s letter stickers for the title, a label for the sub-title and some small wooden embellishments for texture and depth. I love how Nicole mixed traditional Fall colors with pastels, reflected in the outfits on this darling siblings layout! She matted her photos onto pretty tags cut from patterned cut apart sheets with room for sweet sentiments, typed journaling and tiny accents scattered around.
