How to Transfer Photos onto Unique Surfaces

How to Transfer Photos onto Unique Surfaces

I love collage and mixed media and I frequently include vintage photos in this type of art but sometimes it’s a challenge to figure out how to add images if you’re not using just plain traditional cardstock or photo paper. Image transfer is one way of adhering photos that gives you the flexibility of adding them onto different and unique surfaces. Mod Podge and packing tape transfer are a few of my favorite techniques to do image transfers but there’s also gel medium, tissue paper and more.

There’s a wonderful article over on Somerset Studio sharing different ways and unusual places to add photo image transfers like rocks, feathers and book pages that will take your memory keeping to a whole new level!
