How to Tone Down Bright Paper for a Beach Layout

How to Tone Down Bright Paper for a Beach Layout

If you’ve ever had a pattern paper that was too bright for your project try this simple tip from Deepti, she added white chalk paint over top her bright blue wave paper to soften the tones. For the rest of her design she added a grid of 4 photos with film strip frames in the center, waves of blue and tan cardstock to create a beach with some die cut palm trees and sticker letters to finish off this pretty On the Beach in Greece layout.

Visit the Handmade by Deepti blog to watch her process video.
