How to Make Tea Bag Booklet Tags

November 16, 2025 by Heather Holbrook

Kristine took a chipboard tea pot from Graphic 45 and decorated it with their wonderful tea themed papers and embellishments, filling it with some amazing tea bag inspired booklet tags. Each tag is made from double sided pattern papers and folded to form pockets inside to hold photos or ephemera, there’s also a string with a tag just like a real tea bag.

They are decorated inside and out with pretty vintage inspired florals, butterflies and birds along with sweet sentiments. Her video tutorial will show you how to cut, score and fold pattern papers for the base of the booklets, how to stitch the thread, eyelet and tag closure and how she decorate each one.

Visit the Graphic 45 blog for all the details.
