How To Make Books – Book Review

January 4, 2008 by trisha michaels

How to Make Books: Fold, Cut & Stitch Your Way to a One-of-a-Kind Book (Hardcover)
by Esther K. Smith (Author)

RRP: $16.50

I was sent this book to review and after opening the parcel I was going to pop it onto my “To Do” pile but then I flicked the pages and it was like a hard back booked slapped me in the face and said Hey lady read this now…. So I grabbed a cup of coffee sat down and drooled over the projects dreaming of all the books I was going to make. This book is filled with basic book making techniques from accordion albums, zine style folded books and right down to the knitty gritty of books with binding stitching.

The instructions are easy to follow, with images to guide you along. You won’t be able to put this book down without finding a reason to have a go and make at least 1 book.

If you are a scrapbooker who makes unique albums then this book will be a great addition to your book collection.
