How to Make a Travel Tag Mini Album

This cool Travel Tag Mini Album project from Celes is made with products from Simple Stories and has a really unique style. She created the cover from chipboard covered in pattern papers, with a thick spine decorated with button brads and ribbon made from torn fabric to tie it closed. The cover has lots of fun printed travel themed chipboard shapes.

Inside she attached a disc at the top for the binding so she can add, move or remove pages as she goes. Most of the pages are shaped like tags, there’s even photos cut into tag shapes, and some are for journaling but she’s also included fun printed die shapes as their own pages too.

I was a teen in the 80’s so this totally rad Boombox shaped mini album from Traci really speaks to me! She created a rectangle shaped black acrylic album with rounded corners, adding buttons and a handle on the top with a cover decorated to look like a real boombox with speakers, a tape deck, buttons and more. She used the Totally 80’s collection of products from Simple Stories that has lots of bright pink and teal colors with cool 80’s inspired patterns like black and white check and colorful graphics. There’s also load of fun embellishments like a Walkman, high top sneakers, retro TV, camera, hair spray can and more.

I had huge hair in the 80’s and am embarrassed to admit how much Aquanet hair spray I used!

Traci has included her totally tubular signature flaps and pockets in the album too for some radical interactive elements too.
