I have already started. I make homemade canned pie filling with homemade cards and give those out. I am afraid not to give them out anymore. Some people plan their holiday dessert on the pie filling I had started to give out every holiday three years ago. I just surprise them on the flavor of the year! At least it is a gift that will never go to waste.

I’m excited about creating some card designs for my project. I acquired new stamps and am anxious to get started. With all of the warm weather that we’ve been having, I can’t quite get in the mood yet. I usually design my own name tags also.

I am hand making a box of cards for each of my four great aunts and my grandmother on my mom’s side and my two great aunts and my grandmother on my father’s side. It will be their xmas gift and I plan on having around 20 cards of various occasions for each person. That totals around 160 cards. I started in July. π

I love to make rum balls, bourbon balls and other confections that combine flavorful booze with sweet yummy goodness! Almost as much as I love making the candies, I love making my own tags and labels using stamps, glitter, those tiny glass bead-balls and colored inks. These stamps would help add a lovely and elegant touch to my usually home-spun gift items. Thanks for your consideration!

This year, I plan to buy second-hand xmas fabric (and whatever other patterns strike my holiday fancy!) to wrap all our gifts in reusable gift bags. I started making my own tags and greeting cards a while back, so the stamps would make all that repetitive work so much easier!
