Who doesn’t love a good Holiday Advent Calendar? It’s such a fun way to count down to the holidays during the month of December. There’s lots of calendars you can buy but since we’re crafters why not make your own? Doodlebug has recently released their House Advent Calendar that you can decorate with your paper crafting supplies. Customize the cute house with pattern papers, stamps, dies and more. There’s a shelf section under the roof for adding 3D elements and drawers you can fill for each day.
Kathy had the marvelous idea of created her calendar as a Gingerbread house with cute little gingerbread men and women. I love how she also created faux windows and doors from arches of pattern papers and check out the cute scalloped roof with a mini 3D paper house in the attic.
