Gingerbread December Daily Mini Scrapbook Album

A very popular trend in scrapbooking during the Holidays is December Daily. You can create pages or mini albums ahead of time with a section for each day in the month of December to add photos and/or journaling for quick and easy designs to document all the holiday fun during this busy time of year.

Jen used products from the Gingerbread collection from Doodlebug to created this amazing mini album. It stands up on it’s spine to show a Christmas window shaker element on the cover and when the ribbon is untied it folds open all the way to reveal 4 sections, each of which has flaps with tabs numbered for each day to add photos and journaling.

You can take a closer look at the album and find a link to her process video over on the Doodlebug Designs blog.

If you share your home with a cat, then you already know the truth: they run the place. Whether they’re supervising your craft desk, refusing to look at the camera, or stretching themselves across your lap the moment you sit down to scrapbook… our feline overlords have a way of becoming the star of every moment.

So of course they need their own dedicated scrapbook pages.

I’ve designed this brand new set of 10 cat-only scrapbook layout templates, each made just for those irresistible whiskered face photos — the “I do what I want” moments, the biscuit-making paws, the dramatic flops, the window watching, and yes… even the blurry zoomies.

These layouts are all single-page designs, perfect for 2–3 photos, and filled with cute cat-themed doodles like whiskers, fish bones, yarn balls, hearts, paw prints, little tags, and those classic tilted-cat-attitude photo angles. They make scrapbooking your kitty quick, fun, and completely adorable.

Use these sketches for:
• adoption day memories
• “first day home” layouts
• birthday or Gotcha Day albums
• cosy cuddle photos
• funny sleeping positions (cats are Olympic athletes at this)
• mischief-making moments
• cat + kids interactions
• everyday quiet sweetness

Here’s a peek at what each sketch in this set brings to your creative table:

How to Use These Cat-Themed Scrapbook Sketches

Add real twine or embroidery thread to mimic yarn accents
• Use kraft cardstock for a warm, natural “cat home” aesthetic
• Mix black-and-white prints with soft pastels or neutrals
• Stamp whiskers or tiny paw prints for texture
• Let your cat’s personality guide the embellishments — calm, cheeky, dramatic, or sweet
• Rotate sketches for even more design possibilities

These cat-themed scrapbook pages make it so easy to get your photos off your phone and into an album where they truly shine. And honestly… our cats deserve it. They give us companionship, chaos, comedy, comfort — sometimes all within the same five minutes.
