How To Make A Garden Pocket Mini Album

This beautiful mini album from Tara is perfect for keeping your gardening notes and memories in. She used loads of pretty pattern papers for the cover and pages for this tall, skinny album. The cover is decorated with chipboard pieces, and held closed with elastic that has charms, beads, tassel and a tag.

Inside are layered pages and pockets, this corner pocket hold tags, there’s also vertical pockets to hold tall pull outs.

A band hold journaling cards and the other side has several fold up flaps. Using products from the Just Because collection like papers, stickers and ephemera easily keeps the entire project cohesive and easy to put together.

I was a teen in the 80’s so this totally rad Boombox shaped mini album from Traci really speaks to me! She created a rectangle shaped black acrylic album with rounded corners, adding buttons and a handle on the top with a cover decorated to look like a real boombox with speakers, a tape deck, buttons and more. She used the Totally 80’s collection of products from Simple Stories that has lots of bright pink and teal colors with cool 80’s inspired patterns like black and white check and colorful graphics. There’s also load of fun embellishments like a Walkman, high top sneakers, retro TV, camera, hair spray can and more.

I had huge hair in the 80’s and am embarrassed to admit how much Aquanet hair spray I used!

Traci has included her totally tubular signature flaps and pockets in the album too for some radical interactive elements too.
