12 Friendship Scrapbook Layout Ideas
Becki created this darling layout about her daughters BFF. There’s wonderful texture from stitching, lacy trim, tied twine and a thick layered die cut and puffy sticker title. Lots of flowers add nice girly details too. Take a closer look at the Scrapbook and Cards Today blog.
I know most of us spend a lot of time scrapbooking our families, pets, holidays, travel and seasons but don’t forget to include your friends in your layouts too. As they say, friends are the family we choose. Best friends make up a big part of our lives so be sure to scrap those brunches, day trips, crafty crops, shopping trips and all the things you do with your BFF’s too! Let’s take a look at some scrapbook layouts that focus on our chosen family, our good friends.
Below each photo you’ll see a link, click it for more details like tips, techniques and products used.
This page title says it all “Crafty Friends are the Best Friends” and isn’t that true!? Having people who love to get together and create is simply the best! Paige sized this die cut title to fill the entire page adding pattern papers and her photos in the negative spaces of the letters for a dynamic design. Take a closer look at the Paige Taylor Evans blog.
What’s more fun then having a tea party with friends? This sweet layout from Wendy has a subtle stenciled background with a row of four photos, lots of florals, tags and fun acrylic and wooden accents. Thin strips of paper and butterflies adds a touch of embellishment to the top and bottom edges too. Take a closer look at the Bramble Fox blog.
If you have a lot to say or a long story to tell don’t be afraid of filling most of a page with journaling. Jana typed her memories out adding it under a photo of friends with simple embellishments top and bottom, a gold die cut title and some gold sequins for shine. Find all the details at the Jana Eubank blog.
Shannon printed a grid of four fun and silly friendship photos in black and white for her sweet page. Distressed pattern papers, title and Daisy flower create fun crossed borders at the side and bottom. Find more details at the Stampin’ Buds blog.
There no more iconic duo of friends than Winne the Pooh and Piglet, they are perfect for childhood friendship layouts! Gloria surrounded her photo will fun frames and added pretty stitched layered scalloped borders along the sides of the page, accented with die cut and printed Pooh and Piglet and lots of honey bees. Learn more at the Simple Stories blog.
Trendy themes of Toadstools and Forestcore create a wonderful design for a walk through the woods with friends. Erin designed wide fish tail cuts from pattern paper to poke out behind the photos, adding journaling and fun fungi in reds and oranges. I came across her pages at her Crafty Concepts with Erin Instagram page.
I love the mix of colorful patterns on this festive friends layout from Dorymar. She’s got layers of papers with strips, borders and tags and dimensional elements like hearts accented with clear glaze, drawn faux stitching and an acrylic title. Look closer at all the details over at the Bella Blvd. blog.
Open white space (or in this case green space :)) pulls the eye towards the photo that’s front and center on this clean design from Jean created with products from Spellbinders. Fussy cut flowers fill some corners and glittery accents on the title and camera add a nice shimmer and shine. She’s shares all the details on the Studio JD blog.
This adorable photo moment captures the love shared with your besties. If you’re not the best with mixed media give it a try with digital scrapbook elements, it’s all the fun with none of the mess. This layout looks painted, part of the photo is cropped and extends past the matt and the title looks like wooden type set blocks but it’s all flat. I spotted this cute page at Gingerscraps.
A large camera shape is a terrific way to document selfies with friends, there’s even space for journaling on this pre-cut die. The fun aperture scallop around the edges of the page is also echoed in the center of the camera, the borders and smaller accents. Learn more at the Creative Memories blog.
This cheerful layout from Kirei captures all the fun of a girls trip to Disneyland Paris. She added lots of flowers and patterns around the photo and in a cluster in one corner. On the grid background paper she added her fun custom title and hand written journaling. I spotted her page on the Hey Little Magpie Instagram page.
I hope you’ll snap lots of photos next time you and your besties get together and use these fabulous ideas for your BFF scrapbook layouts.
