Free Online Class: Mini Album a Month in 2010

Join Two Peas Garden Girl Jennifer Gallacher for the free Mini Album a Month Class in 2010.

This year’s “Mini Album a Month” class will have a dual focus: types of albums and album themes. Each month will focus on one style of album: acrylic, digital, chipboard, etc. in an effort to help techniques and methods for these types of albums. In addition we will also focus on one specific theme for each month: Brag Book, All About Me, Holidays, etc. Students will be guided on gathering supplies, assembling the album, and hints and tips for successful completion.

Mini albums are great little projects for using up scraps, trying out new products and experimenting with techniques and designs.

Add lots of bold and beautiful colors to your next mini scrapbook album with this amazing artist inspired Color Wheel design. Andrea used dies and pretty cardstocks from Spellbinders to create this rainbow of an album.

She cut her base pages using the Color Wheel die from white cardstock cutting it 10 times for fronts and backs to make 5 double sided album pages, securing them with a metal O ring. In each of the smaller color sections she placed little snippets of different cardstock in between. Each page has tones of the same colors so there’s pinks and reds, blues, greens, yellows and purples.

Some pages have round photos, all have words strips and some have embellishments, all working with that particular pages color story.
