June 11, 2017 by Francine Clouden

Make Dad a classy paper flower boutonniere for Father’s Day! Find out how to create this using a variety of dies and cutting machines.

Or adapt the instructions to use with hand cut flower shapes. You can find flower templates here, here, or here.

You’ll also need floral wire, ribbon and a push pin. Dad will look so snazzy with his Father’s Day boutonniere!

Make a Scrapbook “Page” Inside a Tin

Make a Scrapbook "Page" Inside a Tin

I love scrapbooking “off the page”, meaning something that’s not on a flat common sheet of cardstock to go inside of an album and doing something really non-traditional! Well, this project from Aline really fits the bill with a scrapbook “page” inside of a small metal tin,  it’s so cute and clever!

Make a Scrapbook "Page" Inside a Tin

Using the Sweet Summer collection from Simple Stories she placed picnic themed pattern papers on the inside top and bottom of the tin decorating it with stickers and chipboard elements (that can fold down and pop up) along with a fussy cut photo to create a darling scene.

She also decorated the top of the tin with pattern paper, more chipboard, words and metal acrylic buttons, adding a sentiment strip on the side of the tin.

Visit the Simple Stories blog to see more of the project and how she put it together.
