I’m not sure how many others are familiar with Derby traditions but being from Kentucky the Derby it’s a really big deal here. Some of the signatures of the race are of course horses along with roses, mint julips (a drink, if you don’t know) and the tradition of wearing large, fancy and sometimes outrageous hats.
