It’s a brand new year, and it’s about that time when we think about starting new memory keeping projects. A popular one of late is Project Life. If that is one of your goals for 2014, then you must check out this comprehensive article by Cayley Grey. In it she outlines exactly what you will need to get started on Project Life or other pocket page scrapbooking systems, including choosing your supplies, deciding on your frequency, printing photos and finding inspiration and a community. Wedding Mini Album
Last month was peak wedding season so this week I’m focusing on scrapbooking all those fabulous wedding memories. (Check out a collection of 12 fresh new wedding layouts from my post earlier this week if you missed it.) And today we’ll be checking out a fantastic Wedding Mini Album project so you can keep all the memories of that special day in one place that’s easy to carry around and show off to friends, family and coworkers.
Using the same collection in a mini album makes it so much easier and faster to create with no guess work on color scheme, pattern or style. Cheryl used the Simple Vintage Love Story collection from Simple Stories for her beautiful mini album project. There’s lots of florals, butterflies and vintage touches like postage, tags and tickets that come in sweet products like pattern papers, chipboard, foam stickers, rub-ons and more that coordinate perfectly together for a seamless design.
I really love the interactive elements she included in her album like flaps and pockets too!
Visit the Simple Stories blog to see more pics of the album and learn a bit about how she put it all together.
