More Programs to Choose From

March 28, 2007 by

How is your digital scrapping going? All of you out there, let me know. I have to admit I have been having a hard time finding time for it of late, but I am hoping to get back into the flow.

I would also love to hear from you traditional scrappers, because I am still with that also. Have you found anything new? Is there a great site out there that I should check out? I love to discover new places and ideas.

I have two more digital scrapbooking programs for you. One is called [tag]Photo Mix[/tag] and it is done by Microsoft. The other is [tagScrapbook Flair[/tag]. I think both of these programs are user friendly, but I also think you will not be satisfied with either of these for very long.

They are very simplistic making it very easy to put together a page quickly. In my opinion will only work for most digital scrapbookers for so long. I have found the desire to create comes up me every time I think of digital scrapbooking. It has even caused me to think of taking classes to learn how to do digital graphics to be able to make my own embellishments and kits.

I think that this is what will cause you to become dissatisfied with either of these programs. Great thing about each of these programs is that they are free. You can just download them right from their respective sites which are Scrapbook Flair and Photo Mix. This is a great way to start if you have nothing else and are just wondering if you will like [tag]digital scrapbooking[/tag], but I think you will find you want more than these programs are will to give.

I also want to mention to you two programs I will not be able to check out for you, because I cannot download them or get a free trial. They are [tag]Creating Keepsakes Scrapbook Designer[/tag] and [tag]Nova Scrapbook Factory[/tag]. Both of these can be bought on CD and installed, I am not going to do this because I already have a program I enjoy. I just wanted to let you know that these are an option also. I have read mixed reviews regarding each. As with all things, some like them and some don’t.

I hope this information has been helpful to you. I would love to hear about your adventures in scrapbooking whether they be traditional or digi.
