9 Fun Layouts For Photos Of Your Children

April 9, 2015 by Larissa Coleman

Photos of our children capture moments that pass far too quickly — the everyday smiles, the messy faces, the growing personalities, and all the little stages in between. These are the memories many of us scrapbook the most, yet it’s easy to fall into the habit of using the same layouts over and over again.

These scrapbook layout ideas for photos of your children are designed to bring a fresh, playful feel to your pages while still keeping the focus on the photos and stories that matter most. From simple designs to more creative approaches, these layouts offer inspiration you can adapt for any age, personality, or stage of childhood — making them perfect for documenting everything from early years to growing independence.

If you have children or grandchildren in your life, then you know how many photos can be taken, sometimes in a single day.  With such high quality technology in the palm of our hand through a simple smart phone, we an take decent photos of our children at any given moment.  Because of this we usually end up with many photos and an overwhelming feeling of how to scrapbook them.  Here are 9 ideas that may help you out. Wedding Mini Album

Wedding Mini Album

Last month was peak wedding season so this week I’m focusing on scrapbooking all those fabulous wedding memories. (Check out a collection of 12 fresh new wedding layouts from my post earlier this week if you missed it.) And today we’ll be checking out a fantastic Wedding Mini Album project so you can keep all the memories of that special day in one place that’s easy to carry around and show off to friends, family and coworkers.

Wedding Mini Album

Using the same collection in a mini album makes it so much easier and faster to create with no guess work on color scheme, pattern or style. Cheryl used the Simple Vintage Love Story collection from Simple Stories for her beautiful mini album project. There’s lots of florals, butterflies and vintage touches like postage, tags and tickets that come in sweet products like pattern papers, chipboard, foam stickers, rub-ons and more that coordinate perfectly together for a seamless design.

I really love the interactive elements she included in her album like flaps and pockets too!

Visit the Simple Stories blog to see more pics of the album and learn a bit about how she put it all together.
