It’s November 30th, which means Christmas countdown calendars and Advent Calendars go live tomorrow! But never fear if you still haven’t set one up. Today I’m sharing six ideas you can use to be ready for December 1st.
Get this free printable Christmas Tree countdown, and learn how to use it as a candle! You can either make the candle from scratch with the instructions given, or simply stick it to a jar candle you already have. Use small stickers to hide each date as the month progresses.

Get these Christmas Countdown printable cards and set them up as shown. You can write a Holiday activity on the back of each card to help you count down to December 25th!
Use empty matchboxes to make this simple Advent Calendar with enough space for a small daily treat. You’ll need:
- 24 matchboxes
- craft paper and glue
- tape measure
- scissors
- string
- awl
- (optional) number stamps
- 24 straight pins
- 2 shoeboxes
- small candy

The following two ideas are both from Burlap and Blue. Print out either the Christmas tree or Santa Clause count down calendar, and count down the days by sticking on embellishments to cover up the days. The tree would look awesome with ornament shaped stickers, and if you use cotton balls you will grow Santa’s beard throughout the month!
